When you join us for Mercy at Mercey you will:
Learn to recognize the loveless programming at work that holds you back.
Ignite a contagious compassion for yourself that spills over into all facets of your life.
Learn to honor yourself more deeply.
Bring tools back to your daily life for long-term sustenance.
Connect in mutual support with an intimate group of like-minded souls to create a shift that will heal and edify your life, your relationships, and your work.
Listen in as Anné and Krystal converse about topics related to the retreat as well as our work together.
01. How do you show yourself Mercy?
02. How is self-care different from self-love?
03. What are some ways we are blocked from loving our selves?
When? Where? Yes, Please!
October 12-15, 2018
The retreat begins Friday night at 8pm and will conclude Monday at noon. You can check in anytime after 1pm on Friday to begin hiking in the area, swimming in the heated pool, soaking in the hot springs, or baking in the sauna.
Mercey Hot Springs is located in the rolling foothills of California’s Central Valley, approximately two hours by car from either Oakland or San Jose, and an hour and a half from the Fresno airport.
You can find a map here.

How Do I Get In On This Action?
Once you arrive at Mercey, you will be transported fully into a timeless environment that will support you in your healing and growth. The buildings on-site have been in use for over one hundred years and have been lovingly renovated by the current owners.
Accommodations are very rustic, yet incredibly charming.
You have your choice of lodging to suit your needs and budget and include camping (tent sites or bring your RV), one-room cabins with a variety of amenities (formerly used to house the workers who bottled the healing waters way back when), and fun retro airstream trailers.
There are only two airstreams and six cabins in total, so we advise you to book early to ensure you get your choice of accommodations. In most cases, cabins sleep two people so double up with a friend and save some dough.
Your accommodation package includes 24-hour access to the mineral hot springs, a heated pool and sauna, communal gas barbecue grills, and various communal spaces on the property.
The Happy Camper
Camp or bring your own RV for $50/night per person.
Mining For Love
One room cabins range from $155-$195/night and can sleep two. Only one cabin has a kitchen. Be prepared to bring a cooler and a camp stove to cook simple meals for breakfast and lunch.
Living The Dream
Two airstream trailers are available for $250/night, sleep two people, and a third can be added for an additional fee.
Yes! There will be food!
Your retreat package includes dinners each night: a boxed meal on Friday when you arrive, and dinner on Saturday and Sunday evenings which are intended to be eaten together to further deepen our relationship as group.
The retreat package also includes tea, coffee, and healthy snacks to be enjoyed during our work together.
You will be responsible for your own breakfast and lunch for Saturday and Sunday and Monday. Please be advised that most cabins do not have a kitchen, but do have picnic tables outside where you can use a camp stove to cook your meals. There are also communal barbecue grills available for your use.
What Else Can I Expect?
Meditation, energy medicine for health and vitality, discussion and expansive group exercises.
Lots of free time for reflection, hiking, soaking, and baking in the sauna.
Healing of body, mind, and spirit.
An opportunity to create relationships that will support your continued growth, remind you of who you really are, and just how truly loved you are.
Great horned owls. There’s a lovely mating pair that roosts at Mercey.
You must bring your own drinking water – about a gallon per person per day. Every drop of water from every tap at Mercey is wonderful, stinky, healing mineral water and is definitely not drinkable.
Mercey is very rustic! It’s a wonderful old and weathered (but lovingly restored) compound in the foothills of the Central Valley about a half hour south of Los Banos (2 hours from Oakland or San Jose). There are a variety of options to choose from for your lodging, ranging in price and luxury, including camping sites, small cabins, airstream trailers, and a group house. Most options do not include a kitchen, so you’ll want to bring a cooler and foods that are simple to prepare. There are communal gas grills for cooking and ice is available for sale at Mercey. I find that I do not eat as much food when I am partaking in hot soaks and saunas.
Meteors! You can expect to see a few shooting stars from the Orionids meteor shower. While not at the peak of the shower, this retreat will be held closer to the New Moon, which means we’ll have a much darker night sky than the following weekend when the shower peaks near the Full Moon. The Mercey night sky is quite dark and I anticipate seeing a few shooting stars and making some loving wishes!
Time to totally disconnect. There is no cell phone service at Mercey, making this one of the rare opportunities we have to truly disconnect and retreat from the world. While there is limited bandwidth wifi available, we encourage you to completely unplug from tech so you can fully reconnect with yourself and the other beautiful travelers who will be present on this journey with you. Make arrangements with loved ones to reach you via Mercey’s front desk if needed.
